Why Starlink?
First of all I don't work for Starlink!
Rule of thumb is If you can get fibre you should get fibre, but if you can't get fibre Starlink is definitely your next best option, for download speed, stability and connectivity.

Take this speed test - www.speedtest.net – If your download speeds are 50 Mbps or lower, you’re likely not experiencing quality internet service—despite what your provider may claim! With Starlink, depending on what plan you are on, it starts at a consistent 100MBS on the lowest plan, and you will experience download speeds of up to 400MBS on the highest plan.

Starlink costs?
At present, the Starlink hardware kit is free when ordered directly from www.starlink.com, and Starlink has recently updated its monthly plan options.
The $79 “100 Mbps” plan is extremely competitive compared with other internet services. It includes unlimited data, with download speeds capped at 100 Mbps. While capped, this speed is still on par with, or better than most rural telco services in New Zealand, and is typically far more consistent.
The $119 “200 Mbps” plan also includes unlimited data, with download speeds capped at 200 Mbps, providing extra capacity for larger households.
The $159 “Residential Max” plan has no speed cap and can deliver download speeds of up to 400 Mbps, depending on location and network conditions. This is suitable for "Gaming" or large households with many users.
It’s important to note that all Starlink plans include unlimited data. These limits are speed caps, not data caps. Even at 100 Mbps, there is more than enough bandwidth for streaming, email, web browsing, video calls, and general everyday use.
